All Of The Ichiko Aoba Stuff

My personal favourite of what I've heard, beautiful sparse instrumentation that really brings the ethereal and enchanting vocals to the forefront.

"Gift" At Sogetsu Hall (Live)

Excellent live album, more of the same beautiful vocals and lovely sparse instrumentation.

Windswept Adan

My least favourite but still a solid record. The instrumentation is much fuller and richer but I find it tends to bury the vocals which are the real draw for me. Nonetheless, the album is very pleasant and pretty and I recommend it strongly.

Pretty similar to qp, I honestly couldn't tell you why I prefer qp to 0, but they're both very very good.

The Avalanches - We Will Always Love You

Good and poppy, a bit too long but a fun time nonetheless.

The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2

Forever favourite go listen to it.

The Tim Hecker Stuff

Not really a fan honestly, it's ok but kinda just fades away into the background and becomes nothing.

Ravedeath, 1972

Really Really Really good, just utterly massive and crushing, my favourite ambient by far.

Vashti Bunyan - Just Another Diamond Day

Sucks, kinda nice vocals but it's like the same for 40 minutes and it isn't remotely interesting enough to get away with it. Lily Pond is hideous.

Boris - Feedbacker

Been on a big Boris kick recently and revisiting Feedbacker has really just sorta opened up a whole new dimension to an album I previously found a bit boring.

Mount Eerie, Julie Doiron, and Fred Squire - Lost Wisdom

One of my absolute favourite albums, I love the vocals so much and the songs are beautiful and affecting and just so good.
